State workers are already grappling with a hiring freeze and staff shortages. As we try to fill the void left by fed cuts, we’ll be asked to do more with less.

Any harm caused by this federal shutdown is a preview of what's to come. It's the firing of of federal workers and the dismantling of federal programs that's really going to decimate our state budget and really hurt Coloradans.
