It probably says something about humanity that sometimes YouTube shorts are clips from a show played at 1.5x speed, because I guess we can't consume short form crap efficiently enough

Mod-makers should not be forcing me to "experience" their mod "exactly as they intended." If I want to do that, I'll install only their mod. If I want to add insane space lasers that mess up their intended experience, that's my prerogative. Video games are supposed to be "fun", not life and death.

Today's dumb thing, a failure to connect to a remote computer for the last couple months ultimately came down to someone typed the username "sftpdrop" as "stfpdrop" ("ft" vs "tf" transposition)
I'm both glad and really annoyed it was something so simple and stupid

For those interested in my content, I folded the old former "Misalignment" channel into Southbird mainline, for various reasons.
But I didn't expect YouTube to notify everyone of 80 videos being moved. Their own documentation said they'd only mention up to 3 in 24 hours, but clearly that's wrong...
