“pick a struggle”? actually i’m sprinting across the parking lot with an armful of struggles because i tried to grab one and couldn’t figure out how to get them unstuck from one another. AND YOU CANT STOP ME
it’s sad to remove myself from rare family gatherings but if i don’t sit in a dim room and listen to quiet music for several hours i’m in danger of cussing out an in-law tomorrow. thus the spoons must balance themselves.

potentially niche knitting complaint: i ended up with a chiaogoo red lace circular for this project and i am so annoyed by the way the nylon cable coating grabs stitches. hiyahiya wouldn’t do this to me.

to the straight women who come home after trips to find their husbands have created a landfill: it does not have to be that way. david cleaned the whole house, lit a nice candle, got some flowers, had the first episode of the mighty nein queued up, and went out for burgers as soon as i got home.

So many vulnerable people were hurt, harassed and raped by these ghouls and now—I’m worried—it’s gonna become hehe haha lurid internet circus instead of a long overdue moral reckoning. I’m scared of who we all are becoming. That man has brought us ALL low.

It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

Accent discrimination is discrimination and it doesn’t matter who it’s aimed at. I’m always saddened at how people who would never say “I hate people from X country” are very happy to say “those people don’t speak good English”. It’s part of the same picture, but wow, no one wants to hear it.
