S1 jayvik getting married early on is my eternal catnip because they get 5 years of unfettered bliss where anything goes, and then shit deteriorates as soon as Jayce becomes famous and Viktor's health declines and then Act 2 happens and Viktor is constantly going fml I can't do this anymore 😭

Modern fandom is weak for many reasons but one big reason is that people seem to have forgotten the concept of "retcons" entirely and take the author's word wholesale outside of the source material as 100% canon when they never wrote that shit to begin with and also writers are huge liars lmao
