Nilfgaard? more like titguard, amiright boys

Idk about you guys but I love wearing a cloak so poorly cut in the arms that it puts all pressure directly across my tits. It's great. Flatten those puppies down. Raise my arms? Not today, not in this economy.

Rewatching the Witcher and can we all agree that a crime was committed against this woman's body by the costume department.
Screenshot of Fringilla from the Witcher Season 1 wearing the world's most unflattering, breast flattening, arm constricting blue silk cloak that I've ever seen.

Another rad project from this fall, I was asked to reimagine the cover of "Divergent" for a deluxe, special edition printing from HarperCollins. The cover will be foiled & embossed, w/ a beautiful silver foil type treatment on the paper edges. ADs Amy & Joel were truly a delight to work with!
Mock up of the special edition cover of Divergent, the flames embossed and reflective, a silver foil of "DIVERGENT" in all caps across the paper edges. Illustration of a circle of flames spiraling towards the center of the cover, ravens flying across with a fire at it's center, behind all of this a city scape silhouette against a starry sky,

Many of these “illustrations” aren’t based on verified intelligence at all.

Our analysis of 43 official IDF videos found recycled 3D environments, spatial inaccuracies, and assets lifted from unrelated artists and institutions.

Cosmo is very careful with stuffed toys, he does not tear them up, he lovingly carries them around the house like they are his best friends. This is a Christmas pickle someone gave him over three years ago :,,,)
Cosmo the dog laying under a blanket on the couch with a stuffed pickle wearing a Santa hat clutched in his paws.

Trying to power through a bone abscess and a cracked crown for a deadline on Friday and it's going* about as well as one would expect.

*Not, not going.

Yes, and honestly, I just had to buy a new pen. I think I dropped the old one on the ground too many times. ⚰️

#SpacetoberChallenge Day 7: Space Agency

Bringing back this design from 2022 with what I feel like is a very important addition, especially in these times. Words that define what I’ve always understood the mission of NASA to be. Exploration & science for the benefit of all.

#sciart #spaceart #NASA
Vertical rectangular patch style illustration/design. In the center-top region is a deconstructed illustration of the elements of the NASA meatball logo. At the bottom-center region is the NASA worm logo in white with the words, National aeronautics and space administration, beneath it also in white. A thick blue outline separates the center region from the border area. In the border area on both the left and right sides are the words “exploration and science for the benefit of all”. The entire thing is surrounded by a thick red outline. The background is black.

"Never before have we issued a joint public warning like this."

The latest from former U.S. surgeons general Jerome Adams, Richard Carmona, Joycelyn Elders, Vivek Murthy, Antonia Novello and David Satcher:
Opinion | Six surgeons general: It’s our duty to warn the nation about RFK Jr.
We took an oath to declare dangers when we found them. We’re doing that again today.

lol I did the bookedges for this too but the image is SO TALL that bluesky is doing some real wacky compression so you'll just have to imagine it. It looks great.

Cover for Celine Leonora's "A Lesson in Murder," published by Arena-Verlag. This was my first time working with a German publishing company and they were so polite, and efficient, and respectful 🥲 13/10 client.
Illustrated cover of a blonde girl in a plaid school uniform looking out from a gothic window surrounded by fall ivy foliage. Reflected in the squares of the window are two boys faces, one blonde, one black haired with glasses.

XII is my absolute favorite of all time, what a beautifully designed and dense game with a novel (at the time, for the series) play style that still honored the turn based system.

But I still think it's an amazing lesson so I keep trying to tool it in a way that it's equally challenging as a traditional exercise? Idk! Anyway these are lovely.

I've often contemplated this exercise in relation to digital painting and whether or not to assign it to my students. I see the lessons (economy, using the biggest brush for the job, etc) but I feel like without the addition of limited-load-capacity of a trad brush it loses the lesson in digital?

I trimmed four bowls today for an assignment where we have to make identical vessels and I took me five million hours, I don't know how production potters do it.
