finally made it back to where I had originally left off in IT way back in 2019. 🫠 i hate to say it, but the first 330-some odd pages of this have been a hell of a slog.

if I hadn't seen the movies and mini series before picking this book up, I think I would have DNF'd already 😭

I haven't read The Long Walk yet (it is on my tbr, tho!), but I HAVE read some of his other books, and I can't personally say I've ever come across this issue in other works of his. but it's possible the books I read didn't present the opportunity for any breasting boobily shenanigans lol
