A project I cleared my schedule for is taking some time to get off the ground, so I’m once again open for contract work. Need a writer/editor/localizer? Let me make your women angrier and your bisexuals more chaotic.

It’s FrankenTIME!!

Workers’ Lit joins Victor Frankenstein, making up a guy to get mad at, getting depressed, and ranting about God and science or whatever.

Mary Shelley was ON FIRE with this one.

It’s 1818’s “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.”

I really liked rogue one the first time I watched it, like it just seemed really complex and interesting for a modern Star Wars movie. And then I watched it again after watching Andor and Andor is just…. so much better lol

this is actually a really good list tbh. i haven't seen Solo but this would probably be my exact ranking
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

I know a lot of people say Hannibal falls off in season 3 but it’s my fave. It cranks up all my favorite parts of Hannibal: the camp, the dream logic, the music made by a guy throwing a xylophone down a set of stairs

when people are like "x media is good but the dialogue is overwrought" i'm like dude my favorite show is Hannibal where in the first episode one guy asks another guy "what do you see me as" and he responds "i think you are the mongoose i want under the house when the snakes slither by"

I’m reading The Secret History or, as I like to call it “local twink experiences class anxiety while being psycho sexually menaced by five Draco Malfoys”

if you're one of those people who think they can't get into literary fiction, i recommend The Secret History. it's about a group of classics students who murder one of their friends (that's not a spoiler, the speaker tells you about it on the first page) and it totally riveted me the whole time

I wish more people would play pathologic 2. There is truly nothing in the world like it.

One of the (many) reasons I hate AI is how it mangles any sort of text in a picture. It looks the way writing looks in a nightmare. One of the strategies to waking yourself up from a lucid dream is opening a book and seeing if the text makes sense. AI feels like a waking dream and I hate it

a couple years ago i had a Magic story come out about a sad detective who gets seduced to the dark side by a necromancer, and they posted it under some random guy's name at first, which I think resulted in fans of my previous work missing it. anyway i like it. apparently it was too gay for Russia

I think this shows the solution is for a handsome leftist man to just hang out in the White House with Trump. He’ll have him talking about the labor theory of value within a week

Metal Gear Solid requiring you play a side PSP game if you want mgs5 to be at all coherent or interesting.
After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.

The best thing about having a podcast is when some dumb asshole says something stupid you can say “we should have them on the show” in the group chat
