I didn't want to make this post but at this point I'm 99% sure I got scammed to some extent. Duke_Fluffbottom, aka Duke2487, ghosted me for two weeks after saying he got a sketch done, crashed out at me then ghosted me AGAIN until he deleted his Discord. (1/?)
Messahe from Duke, account now deleted, 10/07/25: "Hooolllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy fucking SHIT dude. I'm sorry but like, dude, I really didn't wanna say anything because I thought you'd maybe get a hint that I've had my hands full with two other comms, but you really, really, REALLY have to learn to be patient my guy. Like, seriously. I was supposed to give you an update 2 weeks ago with the sketch, and that's my fault for being forgetful about that, but when I have two other folks requesting comms, ON TOP of being bombarded with shit IRL with a death in the family, and other stuff, I can't just halt whatever im doing or dealing with in order to cater to YOU. that is not how that works, my guy. At all. Having you text me near EVERY day MULTIPLE times a day, really bugs me, and it just makes me even more irritated and annoyed. like, to an absurd degree. I will get back to working on your comm, and I WILL give updates about it, but you have to be patient, man. Please. Having someone breathing down my neck asking me questions up the wazoo won't make me work any faster, it only slows the process down. Okay?" Duke confirming the art was started on, 09/25/25: "I got started on the sketch last night! Sorry I didn't get back to you last night about it, but I'll show ya what I have so far in the morning when I get up though"
