Feeling sad for federal employees getting IRS lock-in letters forcing their withholdings to “single” — even if they’re married or with dependents. That means bigger tax chunks taken from every paycheck, and with IRS support so gutted, getting it corrected is nearly impossible.

That’s exactly how I make mine and I hate hauling it out, so now I do 4 cups at a time and then freeze each portion I need. When I reheat I just add a little bit of water and voila, perfect.

I’m glad I watched an episode of Martha Stewart where she talked about making rice and freezing it. It has helped with meal prep IMMENSELY because I get terrified of rice in the fridge too long.

Also, apparently freezing it changes the starch and can help with insulin resistance, big win.
