Kujira begins to speak as he brushes his long hair. Kujira: "Well, he does have his own bathroom in-" He is promptly interrupted by Penguin leaning into Cora's line of sight. Penguin: "It's 'cuz he's a FREAK!!" Cora: "H-huh?" Out of view, Shachi speaks up. Shachi: "Oh God!!, The facial hair story!!" 2. Shachi now leans in front of Penguin into Cora's view, much to Penguin's annoyance. Shachi is giving a large smirk to Cora. Shachi: "Like, five years ago or so? This bitch up and decided that shaving was a HUGE waste of time-" Penguin: "Oi!! I was tellin' it!!" Kujira in the back seems annoyed with both of their antics. A two paneled comic page. 1. Penguin retaliates by shoving Shachi away with a smack to the face as he tries to gain Cora's attention again with the story. Shachi yells an 'Ow!' in response. Penguin: "So he fuckin' sits down and literally uses his Devil Fruit to go and Surgically Remove his hair follicles!!!" 2. The view zooms out a bit, and we now see Cora staring at Penguin and Shachi slack-jawed at this reveal. Shachi meanwhile has gotten Penguin into a choke, smiling back at Cora as Penguin yells in frustration. Shachi: "It took him like...three hours."

Waterworks Part Two: Sober Edition
Four paneled comic page. 1. We only see a corner of Trafalgar Law's face, looking up, a single gold eye looked scared or concerned. Law: "I've had dreams like this before...Too many to count." 2. We see only the lower half of Cora-san's face, mouth split into a wide, manic, open-mouthed smile, showing too much teeth. Law: "Dozens...Hundreds..." 3. Law: "Sometimes I could tell it was a dream." Young Law glares up while a strange shadow monster version of Cora-san surrounds him in an antagonistic fashion. 4. Law: "Other times, I've been fooled into believing." We see the mugs that Law and Cora were holding earlier, now safely put down on the surface of a table. Law's mug is empty while Cora's is still full, steam wafting up from the tea. Law: "But this...isn't like that-" 2. Cora stares at Law with immense concern as he listens to him, hand still outstretched onto Law's shoulder. Law: "This isn't a dream, right?" 3. We now see Law, who seems to be slipping into a state of dissociation or similar, hand clutching at his face and hat with a smile despite his eyes still brimming with tears. Law: "A dream or, or a THC-fueled psychosis, or, or-" 4: Cora's hand on Law's shoulder now violently yanks him closer by the collar/hood of his hoodie, catching Law completely off guard. He lets out a choked 'HURK' sound and his hat falls off in the motion. "YOINK" is in all caps at the bottom to emphasize this. A three paneled comic page. 1. Cora now has Law in a tight hug, squeezing him in his hold. Law weakly attempts to return the hug, eyes wide and still full with unshed tears. Cora: "Law. I'm sorry it took me so long...I know you've been suffering." 2. We now see Cora's face to reveal he has started to cry himself, eyes closed and hand pressed again Law's back in the firm hug. Cora: "I'll explain everything, but- I promise. This isn't a dream or trick. It's really me. It's C-" 4. Law: "Cora-san." Law's tears finally begin to fall in earnest, dripping onto the shoulder of Cora's sweater as Law's hand claws and clings to the fabric, hugging back Cora just as tightly.

i rly love this au concept (im a sucker for forensics…), and i was rly cheering luffy on as she tries her best to seduce permanently-married-to-her-work law ☺️

3 page fancomic for luffy and law from one piece. it takes place in a modern au where law is a coroner and luffy is a forensic entomologist. page 1. panel 1: law is at her desk, anxiously waiting as she dials a number and waits for the phone to ring. she grumbles, "come on, come on," casting a glance back at a corpse surrounded by bugs. panel 2: she's sweating slightly as the person on the other end of the line answers, "hello, you've reached the office of monkey d. forensics." panel 3: the voice calls to mind the image of an anteater, for some reason. law blandly replies, "this is trafalgar from the coroner's office. is luffy available?" panel 4: a close-up of law's office phone. the person on the other end asks, "trafalgar???" completely puzzled by the name. page 2. panel 1-4: multiple panels of law, her fist balled on her desk. with each passing moment, her frown and blush deepen, until she sighs and tries, "torao?" the other person gasps in instant recognition, "oh! TORAO!" panel 5: it turns out that it's usopp on the other end. he grins smugly and tells law, "yeah, luffy's AVAILABLE," with extra emphasis on the final word. panel 6: usopp says, "please hold," before stage-whispering, "psst! it's HER!" to luffy. luffy stands up quickly, grinning brightly with excitement. panel 7: luffy slams into usopp's desk, grabbing the phone with a loud, "torao!" as usopp flails and falls behind her. page 3. panel 1: over the phone, law shouts, "i need you!" luffy's face lights up with shock and a blush. usopp's hand twitches from his place on the floor. panel 2: an embarrassed law clarifies, "uh. need your help, i mean," as she rubs the back of her neck with a hand. panel 3: luffy is still grinning as she excitedly asks, "oh, um, what can i do?" usopp flashes her a supportive thumbs-up. panel 4: law grumbles, "BUGS. i've got a body here crawling with way more than i'm equipped to deal with." panel 5: the background is completely dark as luffy's face drops into pure frustration and disappointment. she mumbles, "oh." as she realizes law has called for help with work stuff.

Ok so this is an unfinished 2020 law fic I found and I laughed my ass of the whole time reading the available chapters. The idea that laws so down on his luck that he gains the favor of some void century eldritch horror that he’s from then on just stuck if is hilarious to me

Yuba looks very scared now while still trying to be brave. Yuba: "It's- Y-you. The...the only reason-" 2. Law still looks amused, smirking and tilting his head as he waits for Yuba to get his words out. Yuba: "-that you s-steal hearts is 'cuz-" 3. Yuba: "Is 'cuz- You lost YOUR heart!!" Law's smirk has fallen, and he now looks surprised at Yuba's answer. Around him, flutter black feathers and snowflakes. 4. The dark outline of a black feather coat is seen.

I love when people give HC’s to characters not only because it works but also because they themselves are suffering some form of the HC like I’m gluten free and have autoimmune stuff going on and I HC law to be the same but worse because because no way amber lead didn’t completely fuck up his body-

I saw an art piece of law with smile like scars on his face and I just love the idea of such a grumpy, angsty guy having a painful and permanent smile, it would kinda be another thing that reminds him of Cora-san to (Cora’s makeup ig?)
