And turns around just in time for someone to grab her wrist and she’s face to face with charming chocolate eyes, a scar, and an impossibly big grin
“ …its you…”
“ hi I’m Luffy, what’s your name?”

The woman, Luffy, chuckles
“ nice to meet ya torao, wanna go on a date with me?”

Becomes even more pink?
Fast forward a couple hours and laws finishes her shift and has to walk to the other side of the aquarium to the front entrance where her car is, she hears faint yelling in the background until the words being said become more clear
“ HEY YOU, PRETTY MERMAID WAIT-“

Eyes literally sparkling (how is anyone this happy-) and for some weird reason the stranger is pink in the cheeks, maybe she’s just naturally rosy. Law swims up to her and the strangers smile gets impossibly bigger, so much so law can’t help but smile back, strangely enough the woman

Then somewhat reluctantly goes to play with a group of (frankly adorable) kids waving at her. Law honestly forgets about the charming woman while in her work mindset until she realises that the woman is still there, now out from the tunnel and standing in a much more open area, watching her

The scar I see one of her eyes, it just adds to her charm. It’s not until the woman’s friends also walk closer does law snap out of it and remember she has a job to do, so she waves, swims above them ( there’s a part in her tank that’s like a tunnel for visitors to walk through) and

Walking past her tank and because it’s her job to play the part and entertain she swims closer but before she can do anything she locks eyes with this short wild looking woman with face made from pure sunshine and warmth, the woman’s smiling and her and moves closer to the glass and law notices

Wears some pretty gold/pearl jewellery along with maybe some other accessories if she feels like it (some cloth around the waist and some hair charms), she’s a sucker for detail so takes her looks very seriously. Anyway one day she’s like an hour into her shift when she notices this loud group

Now she’s been doing this as like an enjoyable side thing for a while now for a couple years, has become a professional even has this gorgeous but simple outfit and a custom tail, it’s mostly black with gold flecks and she continues the gold flecks as freckles all over her upper body,

(ofc she’s hesitant, while it looked kinda peaceful for some reason it also looks alil…embarrassing?-) but in the end she gives into her curiosity and honesty non stop thinking of this weird ass job and signs up, and that’s how she gets into the Business.

Like if she’s being honest she HAS always had the best times/scores out of the four when they did there competitions and watching this performance she DOES think it looks…kinda peaceful? So she takes the flyer from shachi and looks into it later just out of curiosity
