The proposed cruise ship port in Manatee County is a terrible idea and is getting a lot of deserved pushback. IMO one thing lacking in coverage is imagery showing the scale of dredging and habitat destruction required to dock 1,000 foot long ships in this aquatic sanctuary. Here's a few.
