I'm not like a "ride or die and make it my whole personality" kind of fan really when it comes to fan bases, anime,music, books, etc...
I still have criticisms of things I like, and I think that's a good thing.

That's kinda where the reputation comes in, but that is also sad for new authors and artists who are just paving their way.
BUT I think that's also where we need to do our own personal work or mockup work for things we want to do so we build our own reputation and be in community too.

Not to say we don't see that here but I think threads definitely has more momentum.
I think it's sad to see that in an indie authors effort to get affordable commission work, and for an artist to get some work at all we both put ourselves at a risk for being scammed.

Threads is the place where you see both artists and indie authors get scammed and share their experiences...that is both good that we share that but also sad and frustrating that it happens so often and persists because some people don't speak up about a creator until later...

I'm just reflecting on some anime series I've watched...I know for me this plot line was so prevalent when I was in highschool and mid college SO MUCH that it stopped me from wanting to watch new series because they all were killing off main the character at the end.😂

It leaves me with nothing new to think about other than the fact that old evil people stay living.
Very much so, nothing evolves from the beginning of the story and you mind as well have kept it short because we know how it ends.

I don't like stories where the main character dies at the end....especially a young character while the old evil heads get to live on...when it's like a LONG series and the ending just flops and nothing is solved.

Why'd you have me watch/read ALL of that?

It's so predictable too and tiring.

Panel 1- A small child is being told "You'll want kids when you're older!" The child responds with "I don't think so..."

Panel 2- The same child, now a teenager, is being told, "You'll change your mind when you're older." To which the teen responds, "I doubt that"

Panel 3- Now an adult, someone off screen asks them, "Aren't you thinking of having kids?" To which they respond, "Nope"

Panel 4- The same person, an older adult now, is being told, "better have kids soon, or it'll be too late!" to which they respond, "That's fine"

Panel 5- Now elderly, they are once again asked "Don't you feel like you missed out?" to which they say, "Still nope."

Panel 6- They are now in their death bed, clearly close to death. The nurse says, "Shame you didn't have kids, don't you regret it?" To which the person says "You know what just kill me already"
