I've said this before but just because some artists are able to draw BIPOC characters sometimes does not mean that they are "safe" for us to be around.
Discernment is good to have, and I don't think I'll ever let that go.

I feel like I didn't like pink growing up because of the way it was shown/marketed, often using a very particular pink, but there are different shades of pink that I like! I think it was also an issue with me not feeling I had the "right" to be "feminine" or "soft".
