It's actually remarkable the extent to which people have harassed and antagonized me just to later play the victim and then act like my emotions are inconvenient when I was on the verge of a breakdown. I can't even believe some of the shit I've been through.

Best piece of advice I can give someone in their teens or 20s is this: If you even have the smallest inkling they don't like you...lol, they don't. You're not too sensitive. You're not overreacting. You're not misunderstanding their humor. They're just an asshole. Don't look for a reason.
