enforceable without a union. Hoyo still refuses to sign an AI protection contract & even if they did since my contract, and several of my castmates contracts are broken on a regular basis this is why we need SAG. Because without SAG, these companies know that we do not have the money to fight them

contract being broken again & again from them not paying me on time On a consistent basis, not being paid within the 30 days as my contract states. Waiting anywhere from 3-5 months on average for my paychecks. This is why contracts mean nothing if the game isn't union because contracts are not

I’m a SAG actor but I’ve also worked as an engineer on several games.

This strike affects SO MANY people that aren’t just performers. The whole production infrastructure will change and a lot of people’s livelihood will disappear. Poof

I'm not an actor but the strike has still directly fucked up my year financially. If y'all bitch out now before you get proper protections set, then what was the fucking point? There's an obligation to see this shit through. At Minimum for the little guys who held the line with the most to lose.

Suck it up. Those of us at the bottom who have a hell of a lot more to lose are running Uber Eats etc to make it through this.

The strike will end when we get our deal.

SAG-AFTRA struggles to meet the needs of voice actors--I will be the first to admit that. This is because no VAs sit in higher leadership positions--because our own don't tend to be active in the union or vote. As I gear up to run, I am begging anyone with voting power to empower voice actors!!
