No Contract? No Coffee!

Baristas at the Corbin's Corner Starbucks and their community allies held a practice picket to demand management finally settle a fair contract!

While baristas are struggling to make ends meet, the CEO of Starbucks made $96 million last year.
Three years. That's how long it's been since the baristas at the Corbin's Corner Starbucks won their union.

But they are all still fighting for a contract! Join them on Saturday for a practice picket and let them know we have their backs!

BREAKING: UAW members at Cummins in Bloomfield are on STRIKE!

Instead of negotiating a fair contract, management has interfered with the federal labor rights of its employees by committing multiple unfair labor practice violations during the course of negotiations.
Our message to the Trump administration is clear:

Fund the government. Fix the health care crisis. And put working people first.

The federal government is shutting down because the Trump admin chose chaos and taking a swing at the Affordable Care Act over responsible governing.

Starbucks is closing stores and cutting 900 jobs in a restructuring move.

1,100 jobs were slashed earlier this year.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

These workers deserve a contract with strong wage increases, and improved health care and job security.

Pay them what you owe them!

The Connecticut labor movement was proud to stand with members of the WNBPA at the Connecticut Sun game as they fight for a fair contract.

Respect the players by paying them their fair share.

(And the Connecticut Sun won 87-84!)

A MESSAGE TO ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS:

This #LaborDay, don't just thank a worker. Stand with us. Fight for us. And do it each & every day.

Support our right to organize, fight for fair wages, & build an economy where no one who works has to live in poverty.
Opinion: This Labor Day, let's honor workers by actually listening to them
When workers have a voice on the job and a seat at the table, they can finally negotiate on a level playing field.

Along with all of America’s unions, our thoughts are with the Minnesota families impacted by the senseless school shooting today in Minneapolis.

Our hearts go out to our @mnaflcio.org union family during this tragic time.
PICKET: Food service workers at CCSU, SCSU, and WCSU are picketing for a living wage and fair contract!

Many workers are forced to get second and third jobs just to get by, despite working full-time.

One job should be enough!

Unions boost wages 🚀

On average, a union worker earns 12.8% more in wages than their nonunionized peers.

But unions don’t just help union workers—they help ALL workers by raising standards.
