The average monthly Social Security benefit for a retired worker is $1,980. Meanwhile, millionaires and billionaires are paying a smaller portion of their income into Social Security than working Americans. That’s wrong and unfair. Tell your lawmakers to strengthen Social Security and make wealthy Americans pay their fair share.

FYI at our most recent bargaining session UConn *still* had no response to our paid leave proposal. April 7 —> Nov 18 = 32 wks. If our proposal were a baby it would be the size of a papaya 🥭
