Yeah, why is this latest furore all about the Epstein connection? Mandelson has multiple previous instances which would exclude him from recruitment to a bog standard supermarket never mind public office!
Peter Mandelson is responsible for such a long litany of scandals he was probably one of the factors FOR a vetting process in the first place. In fact the first question of any govt vetting process should be 'Are you or have you ever been Peter Mandelson?'
