CIO just made a presentation to Senior Leadership team. All text proudly out of an LLM, according to CIO. Subject was CapEx vs. OpEx. Blank stares and slack jaws followed.

When someone asked a question, the CIO opened the LLM in the shared screen and typed it in.

My grandparents operated a country store (they lived upstairs) and they'd make "happy sacks" for the little ones. For some, that may have been the only candy they ever got; they'd lived through the depression and remembered what that was like (and Southern MO never recovered, some would argue).

...and the argument is brittle. He thinks we're gonna liquidate. Nah, that value is leverage for making sure we can feed/house/care/love/live in the future.

If the government is not doing work, and they are not providing for the welfare of our people, or paying its employees -- what in the holy hell are they doing with our money?

If states have to increase taxes to pay for vital services not provided, shouldn't there be a reciprocal decrease in fed $?

The key difference between Arrowhead and everywhere else is that at Arrowhead Stadium, the fans come to work. The tailgate experience is folks just hanging out before work, getting ready to put in.

My better half and I swear like it's punctuation. But as new parents, we were like "Ok, we're gonna Flanders from here on out."

Ffwd about five years and our kid very defiantly says "Shit. That's the s-word!" I very quickly said "No...it's not" and she was sad. I told her the truth the next day.

Talked with this creature for a bit, and my wife turned to me and said "He's totally you, right?"

Pretty eerie to be honest, I asked his mom if he ever takes a buncha stuff apart and puts it back together...and yeah, he's me. Gave him a fist bump and told him to stay weird and stay cool.
