Meet the author! Lily Folts, a graduate student in the @jenmckey.bsky.social lab, just published her manuscript detailing a deep-learning-based method to count and classify ovarian follicles called OoCount. When Lily isn't in the lab, she likes to hike, read, and listen to live music.

With a PhD in Nutrional Science from the University of Illinois, Katie aims to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms linking poor maternal nutrition to impaired brain development and function. Katie is an avid weight lifter and hiker, and she paints really cool designs on her shoes!
