Hiya! I'm Jory (late 20s, they/them), a pine marten with an abiding affection for animals, nature, and art things—also, video- and board games! Fittingly for my species, I also boulder and drink too much coffee.

I'm a scientist by profession, but all opinions my own, etc.

I mainly commission art!!

Cairn has been really good for my anxiety. Absolutely nails the quiet joy of hiking (plus the prickly undercurrent of anxiety of running from something...), plus the flow state of zoning into a climb ;-;

I've kept "I hate myself, I hate clover, and I hate bees" pinned above my desk since I first started studying evolutionary biology as an undergraduate. So relatable to get extremely frustrated with your study system.
