One of the more annoying lessons in art is that trying to make an ACCURATE piece can often get in the way of making an INTERESTING piece and that's a rake that I keep stepping on again and again 😠

This whole week has been grey. Even on days when it hasn't rained, the ground is practically always damp. Fallen leaves have rotten and now form slippery patches on the ground, inbetween the mud puddles.
