🧵 1/8 - Hi! I'm a queer epic fantasy author, writer of the Noss Saga. Other than writing and illustrating my novels, I do a lot of other art, including cinematography at Disney animation (Zootopia, Frozen, Moana, etc). Follow this pinned thread to see the kinds of work I do.

If you need a good book, this is the best saga since lord of the rings or star wars. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series and recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I'd love to have actual real metal ones done sometime. Even if they aren't magnetic, they'll feel so nice to hold.

Strawberry-flavored foam, bird deterrent spikes, and metallic paints: all you need to make your own Qupi chips to develop a board game with them. An official game is coming sometime next year. Lots of good things happening <3

Pink EVA foam pad cut into a ton of cubes and L shaped chips. There's also a syringe there but don't ask about that.

A bunch of L-shaped chips (Qupis from the Noss Saga!) pierced by a bird spike strip to hold them up while I painted them in metallic colors.

The final chips at my desk, next to the actual magnetic Qupi block (Quggon) which is a thousand times cooler but I don't wanna ruin its paint job so I'm using the foam ones to experiment with. There's a printed board game at the desk, with a 6x6 grid on it.

Are these cheap motel lodgings, an airy loft, or maybe a captain's quarter? Either way, I think the spider should be able to stretch their legs comfortably in any given accommodations, and not be all scrunched up.

I actually made two things relevant to this conversation.

Anthro maned wolf drawing with the creepy creature walking plantigrade, with extra long forelimbs like the hooked claws of a sloth.

I was just editing a song that will be in Book 5 of the Noss Saga where I 100% stole the meter and rhyme patterns from Swinburne's "The Garden of Proserpine." It reminded me to post this very old film I made (19 years ago already!) where I used part of that poem.

Last few pages of @joabaldwin.com ‘s Wolf of Withervale and I’m in tears. I’ve never had a book bring me to tears before. I’m so glad I finally got my paws on this book and I will be immediately filling my bookshelf with the second and third books. Also lending this one to my mom for sure >:3c
