New record! 19 minutes between receiving an international order and dropping it off at UPS. I was about to head to the post office to drop off hardcover orders when I got this notification, so I packed another one and rushed out to ship it.

This very much reminded me of this old as fuck piece I did for a design class in college in 2004. Dug through old files and found it. If I recall correctly, it was some assignment about repeating an abstract shape into a composition, and I abstracted a trilobite.
Illustration using a hexagonal shape with two long leggy things that kinda feels trilobiteish and repeating it into a 2D and 3D composition that it's abstract and spiraly.

I had my new dagger as a prop this time. It really helps so I don’t strike the same old poses every time. And my custom-decorated new cloak too, which is much lighter than the one I used to wear and flows better in the wind.

The hoodoos all have round smooth heads and I guess they are phallic but only if you think of flaccid hoodoos or maybe it was just very cold out.

We hit a good variety of landscapes during this trip. Ruins, snow, canyons, deserts filled with hoodoos. But it was mostly so very cold.

I sealed the scabbard's paint job with a matte spray and then manually added a gloss varnish to the metallic colors once more. Now it's truly finished, and stowed away in the case under the dagger. Added a magnetic Qupi puzzle cube there as emergency money just in case.
