AI threatens to replace a lot of things humans and are good at, but it can't replace the food experience – a great meal with people you care about, prepared by people who care about food and know how to make it delicious. I'm long on humans + food.

Fu*k yeah! This energy is what we need!!
Toughest congressperson in America rears back for a punch, and refuses to cut short townhall, after asshole sprays her with something.

Probably assumes there’s big overlap in the crypto bro / epstein conspiracy theorist Venn diagram. Probably not wrong.

Movie you've watched more than six times with a GIF. No Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, or Marvel stuff.

“ICE gets a bigger budget than the Marine Corps” is a simple fact that should be communicated very widely because it clearly expresses how crazy and radical this is
With this budget, ICE alone would have nearly as large a detention operation as all 50 states' prison systems combined. Bigger budget than the Marine Corps. Police-state levels of spending
If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029:

- $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion
- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention
- Billions more.

This video from @hankgreen.bsky.social is a great metaphor and description of what I think has happened to the Internet, and our overall "consumption" of information, no matter how nutritious or empty the calories of information we consume are.

MAGA and the idiot savants of tech talk about the risk population collapse while they advocate for mass deportation. It’s almost like they are elitist,
racist, eugenicist, rapist twats. But I’m sure I just don’t understand.

"we have no concern about President Trump of his involvement in any of that" is the truest thing this guy has ever said. He was involved and they aren't concerned.

Way more dangerous to crawl up Trump's ass, which he already does on a daily basis.

The Weather Station last night in SF was a great show. Loved Tamara’s observation about SF: “How can a place surrounded by so much natural beauty be so focused on taking people away from reality and connection?”

There’s a lot of money in contaminated foods. Selling it and treating the illness it causes. It’s really a win-win.
