he didn’t really care much for the car being caught. he did take certain measures to make sure it didn’t hit the boy, but if the robot caught it it made his job easier.

Through everything, it grounded his own intrusive thoughts of being unneeded and hated. Being a fun test run, and then tossed out. Or worse, being seen as too weird to be good.

At times, these thoughts overtake his mind still, and he can usually be found tinkering when it is the case.
