Okay, and I have friends who work in VFX who are tasked with fixing bad AI experiments.

I also know of people vibe coding apps and refusing to hire people in my industry and people who accept defeat and hire real programmers.

If you read the actual article, the point isn’t that jobs aren’t being lost, it’s that they’re mostly either being shifted offshore, and AI is being used to justify cutting budgets or headcount without having to admit that the company is short on cash or can’t borrow as much as it could before.
