The air vibrates with it. Mechs everywhere can feel it. The static in the atmosphere thickens, the scent of ozone sharp and sweet. Old mines once thought dead begin to glow from within.

A geyser of raw energon bursts upward, liquid brilliance splattering in slow, heavy arcs before streaming back down into forming channels, rivers of pure energy carving their way through the metal crust.

At first, the light is faint, so easily mistaken for a trick of the optics, but it spreads quickly, branching out in fractal veins that crawl across the surface of Cybertron like living lightning.

Thin lines of bright cyan split the ground like cracks in a mirror, glowing from within.
