Many good books on Montreal at McCord Museum gift shop.
Musée des Beaux Arts/Montreal Fine Arts Museum also has an excellent collection of books on Montreal for sale.
Not so Montreal-centric, but the CCA gift shop is also worth a visit for your christmas "books make the best gifts" shopping needs.

I hadn't noticed it before but as I passed it the other day I saw that this street 'Noni doesn't have black tires, it has brown tires.
Street 'Noni needs to come inside for the winter.

You may think the Canada-US border in southwest Quebec is a straight east-west line, but it isn't.
South of Huntingdon at Powerscourt ,where the Châteauguay River enters Canada from New York, it bends south a bit.
You can clearly see this on the map below.
This is the most southern point in Quebec.

Protip for pedestrians & cyclists: if a car at the red light has an Ontario licence plate, it's probably going to make an illegal-in-Montreal right-turn-on-red and possible run down any pedestrians legally crossing the intersection.
