I use to work in a city in Canada. Our manager was British and loved Flawlty Towers. We had a cruise ship full of German tourists come into port one day. We all went down to greet them. As they stated to disembark I leaned over and said ‘don’t mention the war’

I am really liking this radio drama. However there is no way a Star Fleet office doesn’t know how to swim. It would be part of basic training. Was not need as a plot device to have someone else at the hot spring.

Probably The Naked Jungle (1954) based on the short story Leiningen Versus the Ants. Read the story at school then saw this movie on TV and thought they had ripped off the idea. I didn’t know, at the time, about adaptation. I do know that those ants were unstoppable! 🐜

This is a book about family, WWII, the Dutch occupation, coming of age, assisted dying, sexuality, and many other things. An interesting read.

It is really hard to explain just what a mess this movie is. Spliced together with different quality film over a several decades timeline with a poor attempt to tell a nonsensical story. Less than one star ⭐️. Wow it was bad. I would have just been happy watching the concert video.
