This. As an honorary Southerner, I can attest that there are so, so many kind, decent, people here, and we are fighting tooth and nail against a system rigged against us. Every day.
Don’t give up on Texas! I lived there for a couple of years and it taught me that there are a lot of good people all over the state (not just in Austin) who don’t agree with what’s happening. It’s not their fault they’re gerrymandered to hell - they’re doing what they can to fight back!
