That is our thing, we have the most wonderful Thanksgivings. I already have to have the first one w/o my Dad, not my Auntie too. My sister stared crying about that in particular. I don’t want her to be sad like that, so please universe, one more thanksgiving

sister, last of the 9 kids. My last Auntie. Healthy as anyone could be. Why? Like really what the actual fuck? My cousins are going through it, same looks on their faces as I did not even 4 months ago. I’m heart broken for them because that heartbreak is so fresh for me.

I sat in gum on the train. Didn’t know until I got up. It’s everywhere. Can’t get it out, wearing my pants inside out…and they are brand new. Sitting all day will not help in trying to get it out later, so new pants it is.

A moment of stark vulnerability that became a signature song for one of the century's biggest pop acts, "Spring Day" turned personal grief into a surging, triumphal power ballad. "I wish to end this winter/How much longings must fall like snow/Before that spring day arrives," goes the English translation of RM's passionate lyrics. The song is associated with a tragedy in the band's native Korea - the sinking of the ferry MV Sewol in 2014, in which 304 people died - but its sense of resilience and hope wrought from loss has a transcendent feel, soon to be mirrored in the band's global takeover. BTS would have bigger crossover hits around the world, but few songs approach the gathering power of their music like this one. -J.D.

I was still up for some odd reason at 1:30am when Joon went live, but I was lulled to sleep by his soft deep voice. I only caught about 1/2 of it, and could feel it was insightful and vulnerable
