Heading to work on a mostly empty train, going to hit a few small milestones once I get there, then building a PC over the long weekend. I had hoped to build two in parallel, but I am still missing a part. Then I realized, by doing them in series, I might not make every mistake twice...!

It is actually very funny when angry gamers on the internet tell my I'm wrong, espouse incorrect information to refute whatever I've said, then accuse me of never owning retro hardware. It's like wrong in every possible way. :)

Hi this is years after everybody else found out but Only Murders in the Building is as good as I'd heard it was. I'm in the middle of Season 3.

Tweaked my knee tendon earlier this week, been babying it hoping it will relax. Last night, dunno, maybe I ran a dream marathon, but I woke up today and could barely walk. Gotten slightly better and I'm taking painkillers, but still hurts.

Getting old sucks, do not recommend, Fun Factor 2 out of 5

There's also a beefy list of improvements and updates that have been implemented in this build, which you will find at the bottom of the linked page.

There's good news for you RB block button fans. :)

Yes, all this stuff will come to all platforms once it's tested and approved for release!
We know players are looking forward to lobbies so we are releasing a time-limited beta version on Steam later today. For more information, please visit our website: https://www.digitaleclipse.com/media/join-the-online-arcade-beta-for-mortal-kombat-legacy-kollection

Brought out a classic for this afternoon’s internal test

I upgraded the switches and actuator some years back. It responds very well, but I can no longer use it as an excuse for why I’m so terrible.

Also “adversarial poetry functions” is the BEST fucking band name
Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

I was talking to a guy who does beautiful woodworking stuff and I said it seemed hard as hell.

He said "Shit son, doing anything is hard. Hammering in a nail straight is hard. Anyone says something is easy they just don't remember being taught how to do it. Or practice didn't feel like work."

The Qanba Q8 is an excellent choice for keeping my button-mashing noises to a minimum in the office.

It’s also heavy enough that it makes a fantastic weight for flattening vintage game boxes when they need to be scanned.

How it goes now and how it's going to go. Our current PCs feature 1 gig network ports (left) and the new ones will be 2.5 gig. I have already upgraded my switches, so I can currently get 2.5G speeds on my work laptop over USB-C (right).

I am looking forward to the new machines!
