125 pages read today in The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson. Now I'm on "Part Three: King" of the novel.

Things are starting to get interesting, and I am looking forward to see what action is about to unfold.

70 pages read today in The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson. I'm now 270 pages into the epic fantasy novel, and I'm quite enjoying myself with it.

Loving the pace so far. He's a good writer who knows how to pace his stories. I could learn from this.

Finally reached page 200 in The Well of Ascension—now something exciting is happening in the book. Took a long time for Mr. Sanderson to build up toward the main point of the novel, I gotta say. But that's just what I like; world-building, the pace, and other stuff.

566 words written on Skylon today. It is currently 12.606 words (Scrivener). I also moved half of the prologue from the book to make room for curiosity to the reader.

Update. I will be plotting a bit more on Dragon Rebellion, thanks to a couple of new ideas I got for it, and thus Book One's writing won't be continued until I get the outline all ready, cleaned up and finished with all three books planned.

1.100 words written today on Skylon, Draft 2. I am now 11.485 words in the draft, which is good as it moves forward with the plot.

The November challenge is also moving closer, so I can see how much I can write during next month. Excited!

I am still writing on my dragon fantasy book. Draft 2. It is to be called The Dark Empire (Dragon Rebellion #1). Hopefully I can finish most of the book during the last three months of 2025. I have hope for that.

I seriously need to read the series.

I love fantasy. I love mythological creatures. A chance of exploring various parts of the world through a cast of characters.

But I need to buy it physically, since I'm more into holding it in my hands through the reading.

1.145 words added to Chapter 4 in Skylon, Draft 2. I am now moving the plot forward, just about to reach the incident, where MC is forced to go on a long-winded journey.

Currently 9.7k words in Draft 2 of Skylon. Lookin' good, 'tis is!

641 words written today on Skylon, the second draft. I am now 8.641 total words in this draft. Currently on Chapter 4.

There are far less wrangles between the two main characters at the beginning of the novel—which is good. I'll develop their relationship some more.

The goal is to cut 12k from Draft 1 in Draft 2 to reach 71k in word count.

No writing today. Took a break after I got home from school. I will most likely be reading tomorrow in “The Well of Ascension” by Brandon Sanderson.

So far, I’m enjoying the second Mistborn book. He’s definitely enhancing his Scadrial world with the plot.

No writing today. Almost. Did edit the prologue to Claim the Sky, and it's ten percent times better now after getting a friend I finally met in real life to look at it.

Plotted Chapter 3 of Soulborn today. It's getting closer to where I want it to happen in the outline phase.

Let's just hope I keep the momentum up in the coming days, because I really want the outline to Book One finished before November the 1st.

Still plotting Soulborn, the science fantasy book. And...uh...the ideas are growing bigger than I thought.

I originally envisioned it as a standalone, but now it looks like it needs a series to tell the whole story.

And it needs a map.

Oh My God.

I know the feeling of starting a standalone book. Got one for a fanfic with one of my own characters from Soulborn.

As for plotting the said novel, it's going well. I need to make a map of the continent to have a clear vision of the world we are exploring in the book.

Plotted out 3 character profiles to Soulborn today. Tomorrow is 3 more profiles for Preptober.

This October, I currently got ideas for how the science fantasy book should have in-world, like a magic system. It's gone better than I thought it would be.
