Someone needs to study the phenomenon of fiction unintentionally embracing the exact science of casting the weird sidekick/best friend everyone thirsts for while ignoring the more conventionally (euro standard) attractive main character.

The thing i find interesting about the church lady that called around is that everyone i see discussing it is adding in their church as the exception.
