who are you again?
January 10, 2026 at 6:42 PM
in general

1. carrot > stick. offer a better reality.

2. do not blame people for not making the choices you did with your priorities and freedoms.

this goes for a lot, including:

- tech + vendor choice
- sponsorship + funding
You know how to get people to leave platforms run by evil people?

Yes, that's right, by offering better alternatives and being super friendly and welcoming and actively working on recruiting people and evangelizing for the better platforms and most importantly by not being gatekeeping misers.

I like this setting for VS Code from Ben Frain. JUST show the vertical line for the current indentation, not all of them

```
"workbench.colorCustomizations": {
"editorIndentGuide.background1": "#00000001",
"editorIndentGuide.activeBackground1": "#ff9900"
}
```

So I may have implemented a Monaco editor to write fragment shaders directly on my upcoming blog posts, and it works like charm when passing the glsl code blocks via slots with @nuxt.com content MDC components 🫣

github is great, but so are dms if that feels better or it's more back-and-forth (bluesky or discord are good)
January 7, 2026 at 11:54 PM
of course!

would love any feedback you have - it's very early days πŸ™

we should make it easier, but you can click the issue to highlight it in the DOM

and then there's a little 'inspector' button next to the one that opens the devtools that lets you click the element and open in your IDE
January 7, 2026 at 11:19 PM
oh no.

guess what I was listening to.
January 7, 2026 at 10:05 PM
what does it do?

πŸ”Ž it scans your page as you interact with it + navigate
πŸͺ“ built on github.com/dequelabs/a...
✏️ visually highlights issues on the page
πŸ”₯ … and of course, zero size impact (as it's dev-time only)

⭐ check it out (+ give it a star) at github.com/nuxt/a11y ⭐

i’m not planning to get rid of backwards compatibility for directory structure in nuxt 5

but I would recommend updating to the new structure for better type safety and performance
