Am I crazy or does Thiago Martins try to headbutt Baribo? What on earth was he doing lunging into him there?

Ann-Katrin Berger is, with all due respect to one of the greatest goalkeepers in women's soccer history, not at all hurt.

#SportingKC schedule drop notes:

1. No weekend matches against rivals in greatest proximity. Terrible choice for a league that wants to push and embrace more local rivalry.
2. First home game against CBUS.
3. 6 week break in summer for World Cup.
4. Open on road against SJ.

2025 NWSL MVP goes to Temwa. Voters couldn't mess that one up.

Back-to-back for the most inevitable player in the NWSL.

On the @bteampodcast.bsky.social ep that came out this morning, I described KC's season as "when you eat too much of something sweet and your mouth goes numb". The Current put together the best season in NWSL history. It's easy to be numb to that, but you have to give credit where credit is due.
Honestly, there are good arguments for all three finalists, but the Current were brain-melting in the regular season and beat their projections by 20 points, so we tip our cap to Vlatko.

Coach takes a team from next-to-last place and creates the best offense of all time, but the knock is the defense is bad. So he creates the best defense of all time (and still a pretty great offense) and he gets NOTHING? Be serious right now.

The only logic.
Can we blame TM for these award results?

I would be curious to see how the NWSL Award voting percentages shook out, like every other award in every other major pro sports league. However, it might be too transparent to expect from the NWSL.

Stunned that a defender from the team that gave up the least amount of goals ever didn't win.
