The Collective Shout stuff is just one part of the puzzle. Google is censorious in its own way, it’s just Google has slowly and quietly turned up the heat on the proverbial pot, meaning people searching “where to buy superman tickets” don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes
This is perhaps the most chilling part of all, related to why I’ve stopped using google search entirely: it censors certain kinds of content by downrating it in search algorithms (you know the kind and it’s only going to get worse)
