One challenge I’m having in writing this is that the POV character has very little experience with trans people when she falls in love, and I want her to be awkward and get some little things wrong but be eager to learn. Finding the right balance there is tricky.

One challenge I’m having in writing this is that the POV character has very little experience with trans people when she falls in love, and I want her to be awkward and get some little things wrong but be eager to learn. Finding the right balance there is tricky.
I took a half-hour walk in the icy clusterfuck of my neighborhood today. It was nice to get out of the house for the first time since Saturday (snow shoveling doesn’t count)
