Gender-affirming care saves lives
1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.
It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.
It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

My fav Shakespeare thing is how Henry IV part 2 starts with Majel Barrett Roddenberry saying, "Previously on Henry IV..." and there's a clip reel ending with Hotspur yelling "FIRE EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT."

fun fact: the borg collective is technically entirely voluntary, but it only lets you choose "assimilate me later" as an option so most people just end up going for it right away to avoid the annoying popups

Last night I dreamed that they figured out how to paywall erections, so you had to watch two ads before you could have one.

I stopped chasing trad when I realized I wrote faster than they'd publish me, even when I was getting published and decent sales. So now I just do my own thing.
Going trad isn't bad; it's just a path that's not for me.

The trad publishing industry has many flaws. But if you want to be part of it, you have to understand it. That means: gatekeeping; filling in forms; accepting editorial advice. Don't blame the system if you don't get exactly what you want. Embrace it, or step away.
