Even with the really well written fan primer I'm still adrift with Nobilis.

Can't really put it into words, but I'm glad someone has finally killed Ian Watkins in prison, and I sincerely hope that somehow no prisoner or guard is willing to point the finger at whoever did it.

There are few people who truly are genuine monsters in our world; he was one of them.

Being less glib about this, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is actually pretty great.

If you've not played it, imagine if Alien: Isolation had a baby with Left 4 Dead 2, which was then raised by James Cameron circa 1986.

The campaign plot is great, the atmosphere is peak, the action and play excellent fun.

A Colonial Marine, one of the Demolishers, gunning down a corridor crawling with Xenomorphs. They're about to have a very bad day.

So we had a bit of a plague in the 90s at club larps where we outlawed head hits leading to some absolute fucking tits to begin *actively* blocking with their head.

PISCES is one of the greatest, saddest, darkly funniest parts of the Delta Green universe.

It absolutely fits that Slow Horses niche.

When I've run DG, I've noted players usually tend to make competent, skilled agents, feeling they've been specially recruited to bravely fight the dark.

But what if they were ALL just abject failures on a downward trajectory BEFORE encountering the Mythos?

Well, think of it this way; Modiphius games are essentially built from a generic 2d20 system, but then customised to REALLY tailor it to the licence.

Star Trek Adventures is, for me, the stellar example, but you can see the same DNA running through Fallout, Dune etc even though they're unique.

I'm pretty sure a taped bat would be just as bad.

A fibreglass cored latex weapon makes a certain sound when it hits, and the bloke who carried me to the first aid tent did so because when that sword hit me in the side of the head it sounded "all wrong."

It's what was related to me while I was coming around in the medical tent, at least.

You have to remember that not every nation reveres or even acknowledges the same list of gods.

In Seralia & Freiwelden they acknowledge The Mother, but focus on The Wanderer, Warrior & Wise One as their primary trinity.

Few folk are aware of The Betrayer and The Blessed, and no one venerates them.
