I'm still here to be your #ttrpg muse, don't forget.

Escapism may be some folk's only refuge, so if building a better world in fantasy will make you feel better, you can bounce your ideas off me.

The overly decorative, icing heavy cupcakes that were so massively popular throughout the 2010s. They tasted of nothing but sugar, the texture was abhorrent and the price extortionate.

Yet, they were SO popular that my sister in law planned to give up her highly paid local sector job to make them.
Guys, I really need to talk about something dumb and meaningless. What's a universally beloved sweet treat that you think is just mid? For me, it's meringue.

Comedian extraordinaire, provider of so many gifs, every 90's kid's movie mum.

Rest well, Catherine O'Hara. You changed the way I say "baby" permanently, and you will be sorely missed. 💜

Does anyone have 31 friends who want to do something really cool?

If I've felt absent of late, I apologise. I've been dealing with a lot of stress over health and an incident causing my income to stop.

I've been doing some performative escapism in the Hytale early access, on a world with old friends.

Having never once touched Minecraft, I'm enjoying this a lot.

This is such a wonderful review; @dramaticdragons.com displays that he really understands not just how to use "What's My Foundation?", but that he understands the theory behind the creation of the book, and the way in which we'd like to help GMs! Glowing endorsement of this review/tutorial!!
For anyone curious what they are missing by not getting What's My Foundation by @runicpressgames.com, there's the review for you!

Made the mistake of having a fairly bright, if late wake up after two days of utter exhaustion only to find my energy rapidly slipping away as I tried to make breakfast.

Sitting on the sofa now with a dry croissant and the remains of last night's bedside water bottle. Family have just texted.

A night of dreams in which I am one of but a handful of people chosen to pilot a mech in earth's defence against inter dimensional incursion.

Then spending the entire dream trying not to be upset that I have clearly been given the shittiest mech and my inclusion was mere lip service?

I have come up with an instance where I would run Delta Green as modern day action pulp.

I'd run it as PISCES.

I just wouldn't initially reveal to the players that I'm running it as PISCES. I would be extremely tight lipped.

I'd let them have their fun, their spy stuff and explosions for a while.

I think there's two situations where the pulp wrapper does work - one being the heyday of Delta Green's legitimacy in World War II / immediately post-war.

The second, less pulpy but still pulp, is a late 90s DG & GRU-SV8 team up to fight a Y2K Karotechia plot. Punching Nazis together once again.
I mean theres a difference between using the DG/Cthulhu Eternal 'system' and actually running DG. I run DG campaigns set in the 70s and the 40s. No ones getting out of them, but I guess they might just get some pulpy moments along the way

A friend asked me questions about running #DeltaGreen then wasn't happy with my answers, especially around the themes, so I thought I'd see what you lot thought.

To me, DG is a game where the characters are ultimately doomed. It's about making your sacrifices worth it, and exploring that.

Tonight's intrusive thought preventing me from sleeping regards the worst manager I've ever had in my life, sixteen years ago now.

The incidents with her were many, but it's one of the more bizarre and petty ones occupying my mind at 2am.

I wish to play your video game.

I do not wish to consult wikis (both your own and more comprehensive fan versions), I do not wish to watch several hours of ITS YA BOI, LIKE & SUBSCRIBE YouTube tutorials, nor read long guides, nor have to tab out to refer to walkthroughs.

I wish to play your game.

Much like Turkish Star Wars, I'd like to imagine this version stole scenes from Nosteratu (1922) wholesale, and also included an overly long sequence of inexplicable scenes where Count Orlok bounces on trampolines in the desert and learns to smash rocks with the fists of God.

I know puzzles can be hit and miss at the table when roleplaying, often bringing sessions grinding to a halt.

Some folk, however, enjoy a little mental challenge, rather than everything simply being reduced to a dice roll.

It's come to mind as I ponder including a puzzle in a one-shot intro game.

I know call centre workers have to endure some of the shittiest and dehumanising professional office working conditions, but coldly repeating "do not worry, I am here for you" in a flat monotone absolutely does not help the clearly distressed caller drowning in your bureaucracy.

I need a cigarette.
