Hi, I'm Faith Erin Hicks, I write & draw comics. Published works include The Nameless City trilogy, Friends with Boys, Pumpkinheads, Ride On, Hockey Girl Loves Drama Boy & more. I also write Avatar: The Last Airbender comics. You can find my comics at your local library or wherever books are sold!
Actually, yeah. The story was told over 5 "episodes", ranging from 80 to 200 pgs apiece. I redrew the first episode, which was 80 pages. The art quality varied wildly over the course of the whole comic, I was in college when I made it (20 years ago 😅).

I've read a decent amount of romance over the past few years & I get that tropes are an important part of the genre but it's wild to see everything front loaded like that.

I got a cute sounding romance novel from the library & in the opening scene
1) the MC is nervous about being up for a promotion at her job
2) runs into someone & spills her coffee on her clothes
3) the person she ran into is her work rival who is a handsome man w/ piercing blue eyes & gorgeous hair

my mom has watched every season & once I texted her to see if she wanted to chat & she replied "can't, watching Taskmaster." 😂 (I have seen a bunch of seasons, but not all.)

Power came back partially (no internet still), then went out again. Having a lovely day reading Leigh Bardugo's The Familiar (it whips).
Power went out right as I sat down to work so ... just chilling for now, I guess.
