Some of my authors are on disability. Some struggle to pay monthly bills. Some are retired & on limited income. Some were laid off in the past couple years & have yet to find new work. Some would love to quit the day job & write full time, but don't earn enough from royalties to do that.

I'm forty-five. I expect to retire from my day job at sixty-five assuming nothing changes. My long term goal is to write full time. I don't want to wait twenty years before I'm able to write full time. I'd love to be able to put out double the content for you that I put out now.

This is kinda how I write anyway XD never really on purpose, but as I write the scenes tend to unfold in my mind :3 I often get frustrated with my writing because I have to figure out the structure in between the fun scenes I want to write 🙃

I won't start writing until I have a clear idea of the characters, the central conflict, and the ending. Waste of time until I know where the story is going and understand how the characters will react to specific events. No specific # of scenes since I'm a pantser.

Usually I have one clear concept of a scene.
For "Hell Is Work" it was interrupting an exorcism to get an expense report approved.
For "Hail Santa" it was a possessed toy freaking our and defending a child from a Furby.
For "Good Boys Don't Howl" it was the switch flip scene where they get Sky.
