for the sake of transparency, mercy currently makes like. $1 a day on average across platforms. it does better at cons where i can hand sell copies, but otherwise most my income personally is from selling dinosaurs at cons lol...
I know we know this, but authors need to get better at talking about how they actually make their money. Stop pretending it's from the books.

I know it's more about clogging their phone lines but I also feel like telling them their stupid policies might prevent (or HAVE prevented) you from getting certain Black Friday deals and that you feel forced to seek other payment methods MIGHT be a good angle for this point in time specifically

Clay's gun. I don't draw much attention to it cuz it's just a classic cowboy pistol, but it's the subtext that's important. Clay is an ace shot. When you bring in the fact Clay is trans, that means his dad trained his "daughter" to be an ace shot at a time woman where suppose to be house wives.

Mori's smoking habit, I think.
He seems put together, and typically it's well controlled to a few a day, but it worsens when he's stressed (obviously).
Which, imo, indicates some level of anxiety present but "hidden" to start. His gradual quitting coincides with confidence & direction in himself.
