Yep. Everything from laundry to getting started on edits can be pushed back for the good of my health. If you ever need to commiserate, I get you 100% for exhaustion, brain fog etc. cutting into productivity.

I haven't figured out anything with it long term. I'm mostly setting daily goals, rolling with my good days and just letting the bad days come in stride, watching comfort shows or playing games instead of forcing myself to try writing or researching when symptoms are bad.

I already had aphasia from my anxiety (it's worse with brain fog). But chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia work in tandem with my arthritis and general pain to keep me unproductive. But being full time disabled writer does give me the time to do all of this when I do have to slow the pace.

I understand. This output is tamped down, too. Pre-thyroid surgery I was able to write a script in a few weeks, do a casting call, select the cast, then record in a month, take about a week or two to piece together audio episodes. And in that time be working on more scripts. My brainfog etc. slow me

It is, but I'm also writing the novellas in a series. Since the world and rules are established, I don't have to sit there thinking about how many wars between x and y kingdom, how does magic work etc etc. I just dive into the story and character arcs. It takes out a lot of the repeated foundation.

As for my explaining my writing output, I've read now more than 60 books this year (all of King's Holly series among them), some were craft books, some full length novels, some short story collections.
Output isn't how you tell AI from human works. Read the descriptions for buzzwords.

My publisher put 1 book of mine out in February. That book was written over a course of like 3 months, then it sat unedited for a long time.

I've released 9 titles this year. I'll be releasing 1 in Nov and after I get the cover sorted the next one in Dec. I have more that are in queue for edits.

I publish one 80-100k+ word (epic fantasy) novel, and I can only do that because I drafted 8 novels before I started publishing any. 📚💙

I am currently releasing 1 novella every 30 days (in series). I have a slight backlog from when I churned out one story/book after another. I wrote the first draft of a novel I'm querying in about 10 days (about 43k words) and it took me only a couple of days to write the additional like 30k words.
