We spend a lot of time talking about what we disagree with. We spend a lot of time articulating what we don't want to happen. But we don't spend nearly as much time becoming intentional about what we DO want. Our opposition should be moving the world towards OUR vision of the future.

DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.

One of the challenges since I got my ADHD diagnosis is that I can't really tell if the issues I observe now are the same as they've always been, or if they're actually worse and I just don't have a good frame of reference. I forget things all the time now. But maybe I always have.

In almost every substantive conversation about AI with working professionals, there's almost always a person who is hardcore anti-AI. But not usually someone who is willing to be a staunch advocate. I wonder what that means.
