It really is a great city to visit along with San Sebastian.

In 93 I done a wee motorbike tour of the basque country and spent a day in Bilbao. Didn't feel like Belfast, but it really was grim. 70s Glasgow feel I'd say. Though my memory is crap to be honest :)
Went back in 2010 and it was a massive difference. A really buzz about the place :)

A few years ago a German study into why football fans enjoy the game so much, came up with the term "Emotional jogging" - with all the highs, lows and everything in between. And hopefully reward :)

I used to live in Circus Dr on the far side of the Necropolis and a couple of times cut through it in the small hours as a short cut home.
One of those nights there were some theatrical looking types kicking about :)

Tees Valley mayor Lord (Ben) Houchen promised renewal. Instead, Britain’s biggest regeneration project has turned into a taxpayer-funded scandal - enriching a few local businessmen while leaving public bodies on the brink.

So long to Peter Watkins, one of Britain's most idiosyncratic and brilliant filmmakers.. His debut, Culloden (1965), planted a television crew right in the middle of eighteenth century Scottish history and made the events strikingly modern ... (more on our Facebook) www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1TZ...

I remember years ago being on a course and the trainer said, some of what we discuss might be uncomfortable, but I think you learn better in those circumstances.
So I made a point of making my questions to them as uncomfortable as possible.
They really didn't like it :-)

Ah, yeah thanks. That's familiar. Sure I've come across him before, a while back. Think they were a big clan, so maybe related. :)

Driving down the M8 from Glasgow to Greenock with some mates and just as the Clyde estuary came into view with the most amazing sunset, In Dark Trees came on.
Total silence for the length of the track ended by someone saying wow! Fantastically appropriate soundtrack for that vista at that moment.

I used extreme examples perhaps. Maybe should have said AI music will likely only be used for stuff like Ronco buttoneer adverts, etc :)

Originality will always win for anything of any value. E.g. You wouldn't use AI music for a Rolex advert. It's not going to ooze class.
Same for highend film and tv I think.

@b0lle.bsky.social I wonder if there's anyway we can hook Andreas up with the band SBP4 who are currently exiled in Berlin ( they upset Vlad ). They are almost always very Andreaas Dorau ( sometimes a bit Der Plan ) although probably unintentionally
