The greatest benefit was not having social media and other similar tech on me, all day. I'm keen to refine it. Considering trying two smartphones. One personal, for calls, messaging, organisatinal apps and useful tools, the other a work phone for everything related to my jobs including socials.

Last week I tried moving to an old skool phone with just calls and sms. Used it and work computer for most interactions, only switched over to smartphone on a couple of occaisions. It was a nice experiment and helped me realise that you can take steps to get away from web/ socials/algorithms.

Life Without Buildings will reunite to perform their 2001 album Any Other City in full this November to mark fifty years since Rough Trade opened its first record store; tickets on sale from 16 January!
