The Balloon Fiesta is so amazing! The first time I saw it, I had just started at UNM and was catching a bus to my Saturday morning class and it happened to be my birthday. I didn't know about the balloon fiesta and it just felt so magical to see so many dotting the sky.

I'm dating myself, but I had a Holly Hobbie Easy Bake Oven. Somehow I got this costume when I was a kid and it was a huge deal! It was the only store-bought costume I ever had. Every other Halloween I had to go through my house and figure it out. Too bad it was hot and uncomfortable!

The only one that matters, especially IRL: Do not fucking split up. Just stick together, ffs. Unless it's like a perfectly ordinary day and NOTHING is raising the hairs on the back of your neck, nobody is missing, and there's no blood, DON'T split up to to cover more ground. It's a simple concept.
